The Tuscarawas County Italian-American Festival Foundation Inc. is, in part, dedicated to promoting education and the establishment of scholarships. All profits from the Festival are used for scholarships.

Scholarships are restricted to any residents of Tuscarawas County who are high school Seniors or prior year recipients, regardless of ethnic background. The scholarship committee will make the selection from the applications received by May 1, 2012, using normal scholarship guidelines, with need being given extra consideration. All eligible students planning to continue their education should contact their guidance counselors to obtain a copy of the required forms and have them completed and postmarked no later than May 1, 2012. Forms may also be obtained by e-mail from the addresses at the bottom of this page. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Completed forms must be mailed to:

The 23rd annual Festival will be awarding 20 scholarships in 2011. These awards will be presented at the Mayor's Breakfast August 12 at 7:30 A.M. This brings the total number of scholarships to 177 and the total dollar amount to $88,500 that the Foundation has distributed to Tuscarawas County students since 1989.
The 21st annual Festival awarded 19 scholarships at the Mayor's Breakfast August 7, 2009. This was the record number of scholarships presented in one year and a record we hoped to break. Due to a great response from our sponsors, 2011 will go down in the record book as an extremely successful year, providing us with a new record to attempt to exceed. We would like to wish all our recipients, past and present, the best of luck and we hope our contribution to their education has been of assistance in reaching their goals.
