Mayor's Breakfast

The Mayor's Breakfast will be August 8, 2008 at 7:30 A.M. Doors open at 7. It will be held in St. Joseph School cafeteria. In addition to a great breakfast catered by the Canal House, you will be present to honor a record number of 12 scholarship winners, the Person of the Year, the Business of the Year and renew friendships with many old friends. Eleanor and Rita have arranged a good old down home menu for this year. It is:

Scrambled Eggs
Bacon
Sausage Patties
Sausage Gravy
Home Fries
Biscuits
Juice
Coffee

Cost for this great start to the 20th annual Festival is only $8.50 per person. Reservations can be made by calling Eleanor at 330-339-6405. Deadline for reservations is August 1st. There will be very few tickets available at the door. We hope to see everyone there. This year's breakfast is again sponsored by McInturf Realty and we thank Jan for his continued support.

The Mayor's Breakfast kicks off the Festival. Hosted by the Mayor of Dover on Friday morning, it provides a chance to thank various sponsors and officials. It is also the time to present the awards to the scholarship winners, the Italian of the Year and the Business of the Year. This year's breakfast was sponsored by McInturf Realty. The Tuscarawas County Italian-American Festival Foundation would like to express our thanks to Jan McInturf for his continued support. We also would like to thank Father William Arnold, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church, for providing us with the St. Joseph School cafeteria to hold this breakfast.

While waiting on breakfast to be served, early arrivals talk with friends and family.
