Italian-American Idol Contest

If you love singing, this is the place to be. Sponsored by WJER radio and Gary Petricola who emcees the show with other radio personalities, this has evolved into a great time at the Festival. Conducted on the Main Stage, all you need to do to enter is show up and pick the song you want to sing from the list of Karaoke numbers. No entrance fee, cash prizes and trophys, plus other gifts, should be enough to attract anyone who sings to this competition without mentioning the fun everyone has. With two age groups, 17 and under, 18 and over, start exercising your vocal cords now and maybe you too can become Tuscarawas County's Italian-American Idol. Listen to WJER beginning a couple of weeks prior to the Festival for complete contest details.
The Italian-American Festival Foundation would like to thank Gary for sponsoring this event the past three years and for everything else he does to help promote this Festival.
